Our wines include: Chardonnay: fermented in Pa oak barrels and then put through a malo lactic fermentation. This produced a wonderfully dry wine with a smooth creamy buttery taste and golden straw color.
Cabernet Franc: Locally grown (Rassie Vineyards) Fermented in Pa oak and allowed to set on the lees for 8 months. Very bold and earthy dry red wine, with great oak . Will be better with age, but is drinkable now.
Cabernet Savingon: Locally grown ( Mobilia Farms) Fermented in Pa oak . Great with a filet or prime rib. Has very nice oak and is well balanced with good tannins and structure.
Chamborcin: Locally grown and fermented in PA oak. Has yet to be tasted, still in the barrels.
Seyval
Niagara: Sweet fruity white
Reisling
Concord: Sweet and fruity reminicent of the grapes the area is world famous for.
Stuben: Blush

At Lakeview Wine Cellars all of our varitels are fermented in Pennsylvania white oak barrels. The wood has been aged for 3 years and medium toasted over an oak fire. Our goal is to use the barrels for fermentation for 3 years and then use them for storage.
We are a small botique winery specializing in oak aged wines.
